Originally a Prosecutor with Greater Manchester Local Authority, when the national Crown Prosecution Service was introduced in the UK in 1986, he became one of the first Senior Crown Prosecutors in the North of England but including a stint in London.
He then became a Partner in one of the leading and specialised Serious Fraud and Crime Solicitors’ firms in the UK and an Agent Prosecutor for the UK Department of Trade and Industry. He was also Managing Partner of a large Solicitors’ firm employing over 400 staff, with substantial experience in employee, HR, investigation, grievance and disciplinary proceedings. He was an advocate in Employment Tribunals for many years.
As both a prosecuting and defence advocate, including appearances/representation in all Courts up to and including the UK High Court and Court of Appeal, his experience and expertise in directing cases and investigations, interviewing witnesses, obtaining statements, and digesting and understanding the detail, of both small and large volumes of files and written, photographic and video evidence, is ideally suited to the successful operation of our Claims Investigation and Workplace/Employee Investigation Services.
SPOTLIGHT can not only carry out necessary workplace/employee investigation and surveillance, HR and Grievance and Disciplinary investigation services, but also OSINT/OSD enquiries, either as a “stand-alone” offering or as part of an overall general service.
